Leonida's 6 confirmed regions

Rockstar hasn't released an official world map yet, but the studio has confirmed six distinct territories that make up the State of Leonida.

Region 01

Vice City

The heart of the chaos

Leonida's garage

From the patched-up muscle car to the hypercar stolen off a shady developer: Rockstar promises the richest garage in the series' history, with luxury everywhere you look.

Luxury

Cars & supercars

Company sedans, muscle cars, and hypercars pulled straight from a private garage: over 200 vehicles already confirmed, with animated dashboards and working mirrors.

Motorcycles

Sport bikes and choppers for weaving through Vice City's dense traffic, or riding in a pack across Ambrosia.

Luxury

Boats & yachts

From the smuggler's speedboat to the pleasure yacht: essential for getting between Vice City and the Leonida Keys archipelago.

Helicopters

For flying over Vice City's Art Deco skyline, or getting away from a crime scene before help arrives.

Planes

For covering the long distances between Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga in no time.

Vehicles refuel and get repaired at real gas stations — a gameplay mechanic confirmed by Rockstar, not a rumor.

Confirmed realism behind the wheel

  • First- AND third-person driving views, with highly detailed interiors: working gauges, interior lighting, interactive pedals and steering wheel, real-time reflective mirrors.
  • Buy vehicles at dealerships and showrooms scattered across the open world.
  • Much more detailed collision damage, with a slow-motion effect on the most violent crashes.
  • An "immobilizer bypass" mini-game reportedly suggested for stealing luxury vehicles — more than a simple broken window.

Three vehicles Rockstar has already shown, bundled with the special editions.

Leonida's arsenal

Contrary to what was thought until recently, Rockstar has confirmed a genuine overhaul of weapon handling — the wheel has been redesigned, and RDR2-style carrying limits make their debut in the series.

Confirmed

Limited carry, RDR2-style

Only 2 rifles and 2 handguns can be carried at once; everything else goes in the vehicle trunk. Dual-wielding reportedly isn't making a comeback.

Confirmed

Redesigned wheel

Weapon and item selection now goes through R1/RB, for faster switching in the middle of a fight.

Confirmed

Specialized ammo

At least 5 confirmed ammo types: pistol, shotgun, heavy, rocket, and spear. Enough to vary your approach depending on the weapon in hand.

Confirmed

Healing items

Two healing items spotted: "Zombix" (its effectiveness seems to drop with overuse) and an EpiPen-style syringe — a more tactical approach than the classic health kit.

Expected

Handguns, rifles & heavy weapons

The series' classic weapon families (pistols, assault rifles, rocket launchers) remain expected, with no precise list shared to date.

Expected

Additional equipment

Binoculars, body armor, a flashlight, food and drink, and duffel bags have all been spotted — a richer inventory than in previous entries.

No complete, definitive weapons list has been published by Rockstar — these details come from the specialist press's detailed analysis of trailers and official communications.

The wildlife of Leonida

Rockstar has confirmed rich, varied wildlife true to real Florida — a genuine character of Leonida's world in its own right.

Seen in trailer

Alligators

Confirmed in the first trailer, right in the heart of Grassrivers' swamps — the Everglades' signature threat.

Expected

Sharks & marine life

With the Leonida Keys and their tropical waters, rich marine wildlife is strongly expected for diving and boating.

Expected

Dolphins

A natural fit for Vice City's Florida setting and its coastal surroundings.

Expected

Birds & small wildlife

Herons, pelicans, and other species typical of wetlands, for a lively soundscape and visual backdrop.

Extended Look

Visitable zoo

A real zoo where you can observe and learn about animals, confirmed during the August 27, 2026 Extended Look — a brand-new side activity for the series.
