Why no code exists yet
This is not an oversight on our part: it is the only honest answer. The game comes out on November 19, 2026, and a cheat code can only be found once the game is in players' hands.

Nobody has the game
Codes are never announced by Rockstar: they are found by players, controller in hand, in the hours after release. Before November 19 there is physically nobody who has tested one.

The lists going around are invented
Every week, pages publish complete "GTA 6 codes" with button combinations to match. They come from nowhere. The test is simple: ask yourself who could have tried them, and on which console.

What those pages actually want
An invented list is not free: it exists to pull in visitors ahead of everyone else, and sometimes to get something installed. No cheat code installs, downloads, or asks for an account.

What we will do
On November 19, this page fills up with the combinations we have tested ourselves, platform by platform. Not before, and nothing that has not been checked.
A fake cheat code costs the person publishing it nothing, and wastes the time of the person reading it. That is the exact opposite of what this site promises — see our editorial standards.
How codes work, across the series
Nothing below concerns GTA 6, whose handling has not been detailed. This is how the series has always worked — a reference point, not a promise.
The character's phone
Since GTA V, many codes can also be triggered by dialling a number on the in-game phone. The advantage: the number stays in the call log, so it is easy to use again.
On PC: a word to type
PC versions in the series add a console where you type a word. Worth remembering here: no PC version of GTA 6 has been announced.
What it costs
Cheating is not free, and this is the part code lists always forget to mention:
- Trophies and achievements switch off for the current session, in previous entries. Reloading re-enables them, but anything earned while cheating does not count.
- Codes do not save. They turn off when you quit, and have to be entered again each session.
- Some missions become impossible with a code active, when they check the state of the vehicle or the character.
If GTA 6 keeps these rules, they will be stated right here, above the combinations, rather than in small print.

Short answers. They change on November 19, when the game is in our hands.
What are the GTA 6 cheat codes?
None are known to date, and that is normal: the game is not out. Codes are found by players after release, not announced before. Any list published today was invented.
Will GTA 6 have cheat codes?
Rockstar has not commented on it. Every GTA has had them, which makes their presence likely, but likely is not confirmed.
Do cheat codes disable trophies?
In previous entries, yes: turning on a code cuts trophies and achievements for the current session. What GTA 6 will do is not known yet.
Can you cheat online?
In the series, codes have never worked in the online mode — they are single-player only. Anything presented as an "online cheat" is cheating software, not a game code, and it gets you banned.
Do you have to download anything to use a code?
No, never. A cheat code is typed on the controller or the keyboard, inside the game. Any site offering a download, a sign-up or a payment to "unlock the codes" is a scam.
When will this page be filled in?
On November 19, 2026, as we go. Each combination is added after being tested controller in hand, platform by platform — never copied from somewhere else.
